Southwest Light the Night Walk

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be holding its annual Light the Night Walk on September 26, 2009 at the Uniontown High School. This 1.5, non-competitive walk is a nationwide event in honor of those affected directly and indirectly by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Solely a fundraising event, participants who raise over $25 carry balloons based on their affiliation with cancer: red for general walkers, white for patients and survivors, and gold in someone's memory. Participants can form teams with coworkers, friends and family, or can walk individually. Come join us for fun, food, music, and entertainment while we all celebrate and commemorate the lives of those touched by cancer.
